Why are we the most affordable cabin rental in the area?
We rent our own cabin, that’s why. We do not deal with the large cabin rental agencies and do not have to increase our rates to cover their fees. We like to do things ourselves and do not have to pay a staff to handle booking, maintenance, marketing etc. (We even built this website!) Quite Simply, we have one cabin and we want to rent it out to travelers like yourself that want to have a clean, remote cabin in Western North Carolina at an affordable price.
Sleeps 8-12
The Sugar Cove Farm has a renovated farmhouse, traditionally decorated, and sleeps 8 comfortably in one queen bed, one double bed, and four single sized bunk beds.
The main room also accommodates four extra futon type mattresses, which can be made up with sheets and blankets or sleeping bags, to raise the total occupancy of the house to 12. These mattresses can be found under the bunk beds.
The hayloft in the barn is also available for “overflow”, particularly kids, but they must be careful of the ladder, the hayloft door, and the general nature of the barn. We have had up to an additional dozen kids, particularly the Scouts, sleeping the loft in all types of weather. They always love it!
